If you just can’t wait for Chicago Craft Beer Week to begin and want to take a ride to one of the Midwest’s most pleasant destinations, here’s a suggestion: Madison Craft Beer Week.
That city’s second annual week-long craft beer celebration will be May 4-13, featuring more than 150 events, including beer dinners, pub crawls and rare beer tappings.
More information, including a list of events, is available here. Chicago Craft Beer Week begins a few days after the end of Madison’s version, so think of the one up north as a tuneup, perhaps.
