PHILADELPHIA — With David DeJesus getting the day off Sunday, Chicago Cubs manager Dale Sveum inserted speedy Tony Campana into the leadoff spot for the first time.
DeJesus has led off in 18 of the Cubs’ 21 games, with Reed Johnson getting the nod the other three times.
Alfonso Soriano is also on the bench, and Geovany Soto gets another day to heal his stiff back.
