The name given to an organization of people should reflect the essence of the nature of its business. The many criminal street gangs in Chicago have a single reason for being: They sell drugs. Each of the gangs should have this incorporated by the people of Chicago into their names — e.g., the Gangster Disciple Drug Gang or the Latin Kings Drug Gang.
Our tolerance for the existence of these gangs would surely be reduced if we were reminded of their billion-dollar illegal business enterprise every time we heard or read their name.
