May 13 (Reuters) – Four industrial companies were interested
in bidding for British engineering company Invensys,
with each making informal contacts through city advisers over
the past few weeks, London’s Sunday Times reported.
The companies include Siemens, ABB,
Emerson and General Electric, the newspaper said.
Invensys shares have risen sharply since late April on
takeover speculation.
