Waukegan-based WMS Industries, a maker of casino gambling machines, said Monday it acquired a developer of online gambling games.
WMS said it purchased the private company Jadestone Group AB of Stockholm, Sweden. Terms of the cash deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition, “augments and enhances the existing WMS portfolio of gaming content, online products and content distribution capabilities for customers looking to expand their brand with online interactive offerings,” WMS said in a statement.
“Jadestone’s online expertise accelerates our efforts to develop a comprehensive suite of interactive products, managed services and content distribution capabilities,” WMS President Orrin J. Edidin said.
