Chicago police found two roommates dead in their Woodlawn home Friday night and arrested a third roommate in connection with the killings.
Both had been shot, a spokeswoman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. They were identified as Lori Inman, 49, and Avelino Sanchez, 68. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Saturday evening, the man in custody hadn’t been charged, police said.
Authorities are still gathering information about the shooting, which happened about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 6500 block of South Kenwood Avenue.
