Police today released a sketch of a man who tried to drag a child from a store in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood last week.

The victim was in a store on the 3300 block of West 63rd Street at about noon on Aug. 11 when the man approached the juvenile and tried to pull the child from the building, police said in a community alert.

The alert contained a sketch of the suspect, described as an Hispanic man with a medium complexion, about 40-49 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and weighing 160-170 pounds. He was wearing a gray baseball cap, gray T-shirt and blue jeans.
