Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery (Frankfort, KY) and Three Floyds Brewing Co. (Munster, IN) will be featured in a special dinner at Boka (1729 N. Halsted St., 312-337-6070).
The dinner takes place Oct. 3, but tickets (and only 90 will be sold) go on sale today.
Each course of Giuseppe Tentori’s six-course feast will be accompanied by an artisinal Three Floyds brew and a Van Winkle bourbon. The final savory course — lamb with celery root, whole-wheat gnudi and truffle — will be matched to Three Floyds’ Moloko milk stout and Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve (20 year).
Tickets are $160 (tax and gratuity additional), and go on sale at noon Tuesday. They will not last long. Call the restaurant (312-337-6070) to purchase.
