production

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Fashion designer Tracy Reese will rush

into production the dress that first lady Michelle Obama wore

when she addressed the Democratic National Convention this

week, Reese said on Thursday. The sleeveless dress, which is

not yet available in stores, will retail for less than $500,

Actors Amy Poehler, Will Arnett separating

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – “Parks and Recreation” star Amy

Poehler and her actor husband, Will Arnett, have split after

nine years of marriage, celebrity magazine Us Weekly reported

on Thursday. Poehler’s publicist confirmed to Reuters that the

couple had decided to separate.

Wednesday took his love of wildlife to new heights by flying

with cranes – to lead them on a migration route. Putin has

communed with wild animals several times as part of an effort

to create the image of a clean-living, nature-loving person

during his 12 years as Russia’s paramount leader.

Magician David Copperfield buys rare Martin Luther King

audio tape

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Magician David Copperfield said on

Wednesday he had purchased a rare private audio tape of Martin

Luther King Jr. and plans to donate the recording to a museum

housed in the former Memphis, Tennessee, motel where the civil

rights leader was assassinated. The superstar illusionist, who

owns a library and museum dedicated to magic memorabilia, books

and artifacts, declined to say how much he paid for the

10-minute reel-to-reel recording, which was discovered recently

in the attic of a Tennessee home.
