Oct 15 (Reuters) – Yahoo Inc said it hired Google
Inc’s Henrique de Castro as chief operating officer,
effective on or before Jan. 22, 2013.
De Castro has served as vice president of partner business
solutions worldwide at Google since March 2012.
De Castro’s appointment follows that of Marissa Mayer, a
longtime Google executive, as CEO in July.
