10/28/2012 MLB Note – Oakland Athletics Colon, Bartolo
RHP Bartolo Colon was taken to the hospital on Sunday after he was hit in the mouth by a line drive while pitching in the Dominican Republic, Carlos Almanzar of ESPN Radio in Santo Domingo reported. Colon pitched for the A’s this season, but was suspended after a positive test for performance-enhancing drugs. He will become a free agent after the World Series.
