A 44-year-old man was shot this morning on the West Side, police said.
The shooting happened about 8:40 a.m. on the 4000 block of West Gladys Avenue, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada.
The man was shot on the street and sustained a wound to his left leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Estrada said.
No one was in custody and police had no other details.
