Dwyane Wade indicated he will try to play in Wednesday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls as the Miami Heat seek to extend their 27-game winning streak.
Wade missed the previous two games with a sore right knee.
“I had two (health) situations that I had to deal with and one of them is gone, and the other one I have to deal with,” Wade said after the Heat’s shoot-around practice at the United Center on Wednesday morning. “I’ll get back out there and play.
“With the day off (Tuesday), having three days off to rest, I was able to relax a little bit and sort of give it a go and get back into the groove a little bit.”
Wade then joked: “I will probably ask for a sub the first minute of the game.”
Wade is averaging 21.5 points and five assists this season.
