Notre Dame’s first ACC men’s basketball season will feature two games with North Carolina and a home game against Duke, a source told the Tribune on Tuesday.
The Irish also will play Virginia as a repeat opponent, adding to previously established home-and-home series with Boston College and Georgia Tech.
The other home games for Notre Dame’s first ACC venture: Clemson, N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh.
The road games: Florida State, Miami, Wake Forest, Maryland and Syracuse.
Notre Dame’s permanent ACC partners are Boston College and Georgia Tech, so the Irish will play home-and-away games against those programs every season. North Carolina and Virginia are double-play partners only for 2013-14, with two new teams rotating in the following year.
