Giants place Pagan on disabled list
The San Francisco Giants put center fielder Angel Pagan on the 15-day disabled list on Friday because of a strained right hamstring.
Pagan has been out of action for 11 straight days, so his stint on the disabled list is retroactive 10 days.
Pagan, the Giants regular leadoff hitter, is batting .262 with three home runs.
The Giants recalled Juan Perez from Triple-A to take Pagan’s spot on the roster.
