Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man who was found inside of a residence this morning with apparent head trauma.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was found about 10:20 a.m. at a residence on the 6000 block of South Kolmar Avenue, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was pronounced dead at 12:20 p.m. at the scene, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The cause of the man’s death was pending autopsy results, but preliminary records indicated he suffered head trauma.
The police have opened a death investigation into the man’s death, said Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
