Overturned tanker truck shuts down southbound Dan Ryan

All but one lane on the southbound Dan Ryan Expressway is shut down Saturday after a tanker truck overturned around 5:30 a.m., police said.

The truck overturned near 83^rd Street due to weather conditions but no injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved, said Illinois State Trooper Ark Wozniak.

At 9:30 a.m., Wozniak said he expects the lanes to be shut down for another hour. Northbound lanes are unaffected.
