Magic 93, Pacers 92: Rookie Victor Oladipo scored 13 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter as Orlando rallied from 10 back to defeat Eastern Conference-leader Indiana for its fifth consecutive victory at home.
Nikola Vucevic recorded 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Magic, who knocked off Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City on Friday. Tobias Harris added 13 points for Orlando, which held on after a turnover led to Paul Georgeâ??s fall-away jumper in the final seconds that fell short.
George led the way with 27 points and seven rebounds for the Pacers, who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end after blowing what was once a 17-point lead. Lance Stephenson registered 16 points, David West had 14 and George Hill added 12 for Indiana, which made 11-of-24 from 3-point range.
Oladipo scored 12 in a little over five minutes to start the fourth quarter and Harrisâ?? three-point play gave Orlando an 86-79 lead. George drained two 3-pointers to pull the Pacers within 92-90 with 37.7 seconds left, but missed a third after an offensive foul on Oladipo soon after before the Magic held on.
Stephenson scored 14 points and George had 12 â?? all in the first quarter â?? as Indiana slowly edged away for a 52-43 edge at intermission. The Pacers pushed their lead as high as 17 with 3:45 left in the third quarter with nine points from George, but Vucevic helped Orlando trim its deficit to 74-64 going into the fourth.
