MESA, Ariz. — Emilio Bonifacio will get an extended look at shortstop Tuesday while Starlin Castro recovers from a right hamstring strain as the Chicago Cubs play the Oakland Athletics at Cubs Park.
In an interesting twist, center fielder Ryan Sweeney and designated hitter Nate Schierholtz also will start against A’s left-hander Tommy Milone.
