The New York Giants added another defensive back in free agent Zack Bowman.
Bowman gives the Giants seven cornerbacks on the roster. He was drafted by the Bears to play a zone scheme under head coach Lovie Smith but has the size (6-1, 199) and long arms to adjust to a man-to-man heavy defense.
Bowman started seven games for the Bears in 2013 and played in all 16 games. He also was a standout on special teams coverage units in Chicago.
Bowman totaled 49 tackles and three interceptions in 2013.
