Naperville Unit District 203 has named several new administrators for the coming school year.
Christine Igoe has been hired as assistant superintendent for student services, replacing Kate Foley. Igoe is currently director of learning at Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills School District 181 and has previously worked in neighboring Indian Prairie Unit District 204 and Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202.
Igoe has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and is working on her doctorate in education leadership from Aurora University.
“Her strengths are focusing on meeting the needs of all learners, developing strong collaborative relationships with students, staff and families, and a commitment to the continuous improvement process,” Superintendent Dan Bridges said.
Lisa Xagas has been named director of student services, replacing Nancy Lullo who is retiring. Xagas is currently a dean at Naperville Central High School and has previously served as the district’s assistant director for pupil services. She has a bachelor’s degree in special education, a master’s degree in school leadership, with endorsements for general administrative and director of special education.
