Chicago-headquartered managed care provider Valence Health has named Anthony (Tony) Gutierrez vice president of operations for its Health Plan Services division. Prior to Valence Health, Mr. Gutierrez served as the chief operating officer for Missouri Care, a WellCare Medicaid plan. Previously, he spent more than 12 years at the CNA Insurance Companies of Chicago where he served in various strategic, financial and analytical roles across several lines of business. Gutierrez received his M.B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
