A man was struck and killed as he crossed the Eisenhower Expressway near Halsted Street, officials said.
The man, 54, was seen leaving the CTA platform and walked into the eastbound lanes of the Eisenhower around 5 a.m., police said.
A driver saw the man and tried to swerve out of the way but hit him, police said.
The man’s name was not released.
