Shown Tuesday, May 4, 2005, the gravestone of Emmett Till, who was murdered in 1955. The grave is located in the Burr Oak Cemetery in Alsip, IL. The FBI is ordering the exhumation of the body of Emmett Till in the next few weeks and an autopsy will be performed by Cook County Medical Examiner Dr. Edmund Donoghue. Till is buried next to his mother in Alsip.
