Lyons’ boys cross country team ventured to Indiana on Saturday to face some of the top teams in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio and came out on top.
The Lions won the 21-team Culver Academies Invitational with 93 points. West Lafayette (Ind.) was second with 102.
Lyons’ Connor Madell came in seventh place in the 5,000-meters at 16 minutes, 03 seconds. Teammate Alex Lima was 15th.
