Sunday’s Chicago Marathon, the 37th running of the race, will begin to snake through the city’s neighborhoods at 7 a.m. Sunday. Runners, starting in Grant Park, will go as far north as Addison Street and as far South as 35th Street and U.S. Cellular Field. The finish after a Western-most point of Damen Avenue is back at Grant Park. Streets along the course will be closed for most of the morning and being to reopen on a rolling basis (check the map below).

Race information
- Race start time: Wheelchair, 7:20 a.m.; runners, 7:30 a.m and 8 a.m.
- Road closures: Roads on the course close at 7 a.m. and begin opening at 9:30 a.m. The final road opens at 4:30 p.m. Additionally, there is no parking along race course.

- Security measures: Many procedures used last year will be used again, including requiring runners to register with a valid photo identification, using clear plastic bags to store items in designated areas and not allowing non-runners on the course.
