We need to protect ourselves from Ebola. We need to monitor travel from other countries and lock down reported American cases of Ebola. Political officials need to take American health into concern as this disease plays out worldwide, including in the United States. If we can confine it, we can control it. Being prepared to tackle the virus and keeping humans affected by the disease out of our country can help accomplish this. I hope we continue to do what is best for our country.
Though transportation and commerce with Africa is vital to America, we cannot risk our country’s health. It’s time that we cut off transportation and trade from Africa until this epidemic is under control.
