Happy Monday! That guy finished his little stunt, and now we have to get on with our lives.

Last week’s set of hot RedEye stories ran the gamut from Nik Wallenda to Taylor Swift, with a few CTA privacy concerns in between. If you’re still in a haze from that Halloween hangover, let us catch you up with “What Clicked.”

>> No. 1: Man walksWallenda

Tight-roper Nik Wallenda made good on his threat to walk over the Chicago skyline without traumatizing an estimated crowd of 50,000 people. If you watched the Blackhawks lose instead, here’s our recap of the event. Our story about street closures and viewing locations was the most popular of the week, mostly because everyone wanted to know how the heck to avoid all that nonsense.

>>No. 2: Real-estate pornLakeview condo

Look at this charming little piece of real-estate in Lakeview. It has a spiral staircase! An old-timey bathtub! Oh, and it’s more than $2 million dollars, so looking is probably all you can afford.

>>No. 3: Consent the D?Biden

“So, I am sure that, like me, many of you are wondering: How does a T-shirt about fearing penises somehow become a campaign about stopping on-campus sexual violence?” writes RedEye columnist Zach Stafford, on what he says is a misguided effort from DePaul students about raising awareness about college sexual assault.

>>No. 4: Meh, T-SwiftTaylor Swift

It seems Taylor Swift’s latest is actually pretty ‘meh,’ according to RedEye features editor Dana Moran. But it’s OK, our music and movie critic Matt Pais says it’s totally fine to like her anyway.

>>No. 5: CTA people tracking?

The CTA and its ad agency quietly tested out some Bluetooth phone tracking sensors this past month and didn’t really bother to tell anyone. We looked into it, and while its not as creepy as it seems, more of the tech could be on its way to a station near you.
