Can someone please explain why the district attorney decided to announce the grand jury’s decision about Ferguson, Mo., at 8 p.m. on a Monday night? To prevent or limit looting and rioting, the announcement should instead have been made the next morning, or better yet, Thanksgiving morning. After a three-month wait, another day would not have mattered. Where is the common sense?
