It is time to stop the anarchy in Ferguson, Mo., and to have zero tolerance for lawless violence. Following the rule of law, a bi-racial grand jury viewed the overwhelming facts and data regarding the death of Michael Brown and declared that there was no justifiable cause to indict officer Darren Wilson.
People have the right to disagree, but they don’t have the right to be violent criminals and burn down buildings, burn cars, cause injury and disrupt the lives of the people of Ferguson because they did not like the outcome.
The discussion must now be about stopping anarchy and lawlessness. The No. 1 priority in Ferguson must now be to protect the citizens and their property, and the authorities must use whatever force is required to successfully do that. There must be zero tolerance for violence, and harsh penalties should be imposed on those criminals who use violence to bring chaos to thousands of innocent citizens.
