Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Rashied Davis has sold his three-bedroom half-duplex in Mundelein for $205,000.
A Bear from 2005 to 2010 and then again briefly in 2012, Davis, 35, recently bought a four-bedroom, 2,862-square-foot house in Libertyville for $670,000.
Davis paid $248,000 in 2006 for the Mundelein home. It has 2-1/2 baths, a two-story living room and entry, walnut floors, vaulted ceilings, and a kitchen with granite countertops and maple cabinets. He briefly had the unit on the market in 2010 and relisted it in November for $225,900.
“It was a completely redone home,” said listing agent Gayle Stellas. “It looked like it was the inside of a home on the North Shore, but it was in Mundelein. That’s what happens when you have sophisticated (owners). It was a standout-type home, and it was a special home. They really enjoyed it. But, they needed to move on to a bigger place.”
