Regarding lowering the sales tax for diapers and baby wipes: There is an entire generation of people in their 40s and 50s who were raised with cloth diapers and no baby wipes! Amazing how mothers were able to do an extra load of laundry, using bleach, detergent and water, and raise babies without diaper rashes. Having done it with four children, I can assure you, it wasn’t that bad — and we couldn’t be accused of polluting the environment.
Perhaps the “old ways” weren’t that bad. We saved money, the point of lowering this tax!
