A construction worker was hit in the head and injured Friday afternoon in the Loop.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was in fair-to-serious condition after the incident at Washington and LaSalle streets, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Will Knight.
Knight said the worker was hit in the head with a “construction bucket” about 3:30 p.m. while working on a site.
