A car museum in northwest suburban Volo has put up a DeLorean as a grand prize if the Cubs win the World Series this season.
The promotion plays off a scene in the movie “Back to the Future II” in which the Cubs win the long-elusive championship in 2015. All three “Back to the Future” movies feature a time-traveling DeLorean.
The Volo Auto Museum will award one winner its model of the car. Museum visitors can register on site or by entering the numbers on their wristband in a contest form online. You can also write to the museum to request a registration code (see bottom of the link for rules).
The contest starts March 21 and ends a day before the World Series starts.
