A man who was arrested by Aurora police last month after his picture went viral on Facebook is now facing additional charges in Kendall County.
In March, Karlon Hudson, 45, of Montgomery was charged with five felonies for allegedly buying a stolen credit card and using it to withdraw more than $1,600 from banks and ATMs in Aurora in January.
According to Aurora police, Hudson was caught on surveillance cameras using the card.
On March 3, Aurora police posted the picture to Facebook. Hudson was identified by an Oswego woman, located and charged. When Aurora police found Hudson, he was in the custody of the Oswego police, and is now facing additional charges in Kendall County as a result.
Hudson, of the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass, is facing two felony charges filed by Kendall County prosecutors stemming from incidents that occurred in Oswego around the same time Aurora police were searching for him.
On March 14, Aurora detectives learned Hudson was arrested by Oswego police on unrelated burglary and theft charges. Oswego police did not immediately return calls regarding the details of Hudson’s charges, but court records indicate they stemmed from two separate incidents.
Aurora detectives also charged Hudson with burglary and felony theft in connection with a break-in at a near Northeast Side apartment business office in the 1300 block of Marshall Boulevard on Jan. 24 in which over $3,700 in tools and two televisions were stolen.
