This Sunday, the Buffalo Grove Farmers Market will feature two special colors: the green of the yearly Green Fair, and yellow for the Tasty Cheese Food Truck.
The fourth-annual edition of the all-things-environmental event will include new and recycled uses for:
* eye glasses
* hearing aids
* all kinds of shoes
* clothing and linens
* any kind of key
* CFL light bulbs
* household batteries
* small, working appliances
* small electronics
* used knives, scissors and other blades
* books
* compact discs, DVDs and video games
* crayons
Visitors are also encouraged to bring any kind of bicycle —functional or broken. Donations will be sent to a non-profit group that refurbishes bikes.
This weekend, the market will also be the host of a food truck for the first time. The Tasty Cheese Food Truck will roll into the Mike Rylko Community Park parking lot at 951 McHenry Road.
