I feel like this world is making us into robots. No one speaks what is on their mind. We’re all afraid that someone will be offended or we’ll make someone mad or heaven forbid say the wrong thing, so everyone says the same thing and all the politically correct garbage. Start saying what is really on your mind, people, and quit worrying if it’s not what everyone wants to hear.
Why do we need to change the $10 bills? They have served us well all of these years. Just leave them alone.
To the lady who was so nasty and rude toward the pharmacy technician and made a scene at the Valparaiso Professional Pharmacy: Shame on you. You were wrong. The technician was nothing but professional with you. You are the one who was nasty and unruly.
There is a huge difference between self-made wealthy people and those who inherit wealth. Anyone can inherit money, but not everyone can earn millions on their own.
Some of the current presidential candidates are in the race only to cause turmoil. They lob their incendiary comments and stand back and laugh.
Every day there’s a new article about our state using our money to sue the EPA. How much of our money was spent fighting gay marriage? How long are we going to let these Republicans put our great state on the wrong side of history?
I think they should find out who supplied those two kids with the booze that made all the trouble at the fireworks in Valparaiso and hold them as responsible as the kids.
Let’s see if we understand the joker who seems disappointed we had no ISIS Fourth of July mayhem. Is he saying he would be happier had such terrorism come to fruition resulting in mass beheadings or other forms of gruesome deviance?
Donald Trump doesn’t have any chance of being our president. He is addicted to attention and will say and do anything to get it. He is neither a gentleman nor a scholar.
How about the county come through Wildwood Shores and have these people remove their broken-down nonplated vehicles.
To the person who thinks it’s a good thing to have a ton of candidates running for president: Most people called it the “clown car.” Some of them didn’t even go to college. They’re not going to be opening a five-and-dime store. They’re going to be running a nation. The only thing they’d do if elected is take our Social Security and give it to their buddies on Wall Street.
Just wondering about Indiana 49. What do we have to do or who can we speak with to get the only major north-south route paved? How long are we going to have to drive down this obstacle course to avoid blowing out our tires?
In most Indiana municipalities, use of fireworks is legal only between June 29 and July 9. If someone is using them anyway, call the police. Trouble is, you’ll probably have to explain the law to the police.
I have a gay son, and the Catholic response, as well as Bishop Hying’s, to the gay community is that they are not welcome. All denominations need to get beyond just “tolerating” gay people and accept and love them for who they are. This is what Christ would have done.
