A 22-year-old Aurora man was killed Tuesday night when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a truck on the 1500 block of Sequoia Drive in the city.
According to police, the crash occurred about 6:35 p.m. Police said the motorcycle was eastbound on Sequoia from Edgelawn when its path was blocked by a semitruck, also eastbound, that was turning left into an industrial building. The motorcycle hit the side of the truck. The motorcycle driver was wearing a helmet but suffered massive head injuries during the crash, police said.
The Illinois State Police are assisting Aurora police in the investigation of the crash.
