Though the weather says otherwise, the retail calendar says it’s fall. So let’s talk fashion!
Fall fashion has always been about boots, and lace-up are the hottest right now. It doesn’t matter if they tie in the front or in the back, are ankle height or mid-calf, or are high-heeled or flat. Just make sure they’ve got laces. Jayne Boutique in La Grange has them all.
Aviators will continue their run as one of the hottest styles in sunglasses, and thanks to Tom Ford, they’ve got a new look, which can be found at Shop 10 in Hinsdale.

The drawstring bucket bag will offer an alternative to the flat crossbody bag. Bracelets will replace necklaces and earrings as the new statement item. Rather than stacking the bracelets up, wear one great cuff, a wide and chunky bracelet or a few heavy bangles. Just don’t wear them all at once!
