Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

From Odesza’s origins as college students at Western Washington University to having packed afternoon slots at festivals like Lollapalooza, the Seattle duo has come a long way, more than making a name for its warm electronic music that soars as much it feels lived-in and inviting.

On Friday, the band’s 2014 sophomore album “In Return” will be reissued as a special deluxe edition complete with live tracks, instrumental versions of album cuts and other goodies in its sexy, two-disc package. While Odesza has already shared a live mix of “Bloom” and “Light (feat. Little Dragon),” today the group has a RedEye exclusive premiere with another concert version, “IPlayYouListen.”

The track, which is my favorite song off the pair’s 2012 album “Summer’s Gone,” hits you like a wave of dreamy vibes. Where some live recordings neuter the original atmosphere, hearing snippets of the crowd cheer during the jubilant blasts of synths and horns totally will make you think that you’re there. Listen below.

Fortunately for you, you could actually be there: The duo is making not one but two Chicago stops on its “In Return: World Tour” on Saturday, Nov. 21. While the late show (11:30 p.m.) is already sold out, an early show (6:30 p.m.) has been added, and tickets are still remaining as of this moment. Since it’s your lucky day electronic music fans, buy tickets to that early show here.
