The following items were taken from area police reports.
Downers Grove
*Jason A. Marker, 33, of the 2000 block of Cermak Avenue, Chicago was charged Aug. 26 with battery.
*Alex J. Montemayor, 21, of the 7000 block of Hartford Road, was charged with battery Aug. 26.
*James C. Falco, 41, of the 5000 block of Blodgett Road, Downers Grove was charged Aug. 27 with driving under the influence-alcohol and child endangerment.
*Tools valued at $780 were stolen from a trailer parked in the 7000 block of Lemont Road Aug. 24.
*A café in the 1000 block of Curtiss Street was burglarized Aug. 23. A window was broken and a cash register was open and coins were strewn on the floor.
Woodridge
*Sarah Spiel, 23, of the 800 block of Gamble Road, Lisle, was charged with retail theft Sept. 18 after allegedly removing three pairs of earrings from Kohls, 1001 75th St., without paying.
*Gena Makowski, 45, of the 8200 block of Woodland Drive, Darien, was charged with retail theft and Tim Makowski, 47, of the 8200 block of Woodland Drive, Darien, was charged with battery Sept. 19 at Kohl’s, 1001 75th St.
*George Lin, 18, of the 7500 block of Waterstone Way, Naperville, was charged with possession of cannabis Sept. 20 in the 7500 block of Waterstone Way.
*Miscellaneous items were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 6500 block of Winston Drive between 10 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 7:15 a.m. on Sept. 21.
*Albino Diaz, 48, of the 1900 block of Arbor Gate Court, Plainfield, was charged with possession of cannabis Sept. 22 at Illinois 53 and Summerhill Drive.
*Someone entered a parked vehicle but did not remove anything in the 3200 block of 83rd Street between 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 6:50 a.m. on Sept. 24.
*Courtney Sockness, 19, of the 15200 block of West 147th Street, Homer Glen, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Sept. 24 in the 8400 block of Woodward Avenue.
Westmont
*Miranda Aufmann, 21, of the 7000 block of Catalpa Ave., Woodridge was charged Sept. 20 with driving under the influence and speeding.
*Frederick Sherman, 33, of the 1000 block of 23rd Avenue, Bellwood was charged Sept. 20 with possession of cannabis.
*Lancelot McGhee, 23, of the 4000 block of Highland Avenue, Downers Grove was charged Sept. 19 with driving with a suspended license, possession of cannabis and speeding.
*Dijon James, 21, of the 1000 block of Harvest Lane, Westmont was charged Sept. 19 with driving with a suspended license.
*Timothy Bagley, 38, of the 4000 block of Highland Avenue, Downers Grove was charged Sept. 19 with driving under the influence and illegal transportation of alcohol.
*Chiara Johnson, 44, of the 800 block of South Adams Street, Westmont was charged Sept. 18 with driving with a suspended license, having no insurance and failing to yield when turning left.
*Destinee Hansen, 19, of the 400 block of South Cass Avenue, Westmont was charged Sept. 15 with driving with a suspended license and expired registration.
