After its one-day run on the Red Line on Saturday, the CTA’s holiday train will return the day after Thanksgiving—Friday—and run until Dec. 23.
Sponsored by Sprint, the decorated six-car train will travel all train lines throughout its holiday run and will operate from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on select weekdays. Normal CTA fares will apply.
The holiday train schedule is as follows:
>> Green Line: Nov. 27 & 28, Dec. 1
>> Orange & Brown Line: Dec. 2-5
>> Pink Line: Dec. 8 & 9
>> Blue Line: Dec. 10-12
>> Red Line: Dec. 15, 17, 19
>> Purple Line: Dec. 16, 18, 19, 22
>> Yellow Line: Dec. 23
Detailed, scheduled departures for each day will be posted on the CTA website when they become available.
