Just one more for the road shouldn’t happen unless you are not driving or you are talking about one more cookie.
Whatever you do, don’t be like me and lose your December and January birthday list.

Dec. 31: Annual New Year’s Eve Pizza Party for Children is from 1 to 4 p.m. at On The Square Sports Academy, 105 N. Court St. Bring your cameras and a minimum fee of $5 per person with children 2 and younger free. Call city special events at 219-662-3240.
Jan 31: Pancake Breakfast and Open House from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point. This is for parents who are interested in finding out more about what St. Mary’s School has to offer. It is pre-K to 8 and has been serving the needs of children since 1872. If you can’t make Sunday there is also an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb 3. Information: stmarycp.org/school or 219-663-0676.
Feb. 10: Ash Wednesday. This puts Easter at the end of March.
Bird enthusiasts may enjoy the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Bicentennial Birding Big Year Challenge. Try to find and log 200 bird species in 2016.
