What do you like about LHS?
The people. Everyone is really friendly.
What do you like about Libertyville in general?
There’s a neat sense of community. A lot of people like to self identify themselves as being from Libertyville, and there are usually a lot of people at the different events in town.
Do you have any plans for after graduation?
I’m hoping to be a nurse. I’ve applied to a lot of schools but I haven’t heard back yet.
Why do you want to be a nurse?
My dad is a doctor and I like how he helps people. At first, I wanted to be a doctor, too. It’s a long path, though, and I like being useful now. I’ve done some shadowing at a hospital and I really like it.
Is there anyone you look up to?
My dad. He’s really accomplished in his life and he found time to have a family. I hope I can one day have that balance between an impactful career and loving, well-rounded family.
Do you have any hobbies?
I do contemporary lyrical dance at a studio outside of school but I’m also in orchesis, which is a club at our school for dancing.
Do you have any favorite TV shows?
“Skins” and “Teen Wolf.” They’re both about kids our age who struggle and succeed with things. It’s very relatable.
