As I was shopping in the aisle where the Depends were, I noticed a product called Butterfly. Apparently it is for people who have leaky bowels. I guess Butterfly keeps it where it should be. Anyway, Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger had it right when he sings “What a drag it is getting old” in the song “Mother’s Little Helper.”
Go, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. He has got to resign. He’s got to get out of Chicago. He’s got to move. He’s got to become less of a mayor. Tell him to drop down. Tell him to resign. He’s got to go. He’s no good for the job.
I wish the Democrats would quit blaming former President Reagan and I wish the Republicans would quit blaming President Obama for the mess the middle class is in right now. I’ll say it again. It was the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, and especially GATT, the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. When that happened, manufacturing left this country like the plague hit. We have to get the manufacturing from China, from Mexico and from Vietnam back into this country so we can go back to work. Amen.
The truth is God is not some entity in the sky or a man with a long beard in the sky, looking, knowing and sitting high. God is in us and it’s up to us to use our good senses to do what’s right. If we would treat each other correctly and love one another, I guarantee you all of these groups like the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and all of the other traumas of the world would magically disappear. God is in you.
This is about David Rutter’s column on Jan. 3rd and people looking back on the 1950s because of fond memories. It has absolutely nothing to do with race and you shouldn’t say that because you’ve not talked to everybody. You’re misleading people.
Has Rahm Emanuel stepped down yet as mayor of Chicago? I think it’s time to replace the Rahmfather with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. I think Donald Trump would straighten that Democratic city out for years to come. Put the Trump in there. Take Rahm Emanuel out.
Educators in Indianapolis wonder why our kids’ Indiana Statewide Testing for Education Progress-Plus math test scores are so low. They post all the answers on the board in each classroom. The kids don’t even have to learn their multiplication tables, and they’re passed from grade to grade. Nobody drills them. The parents don’t so when kids take the test, they don’t even know their multiplication tables. They can’t even comprehend what they’re reading because they’re playing on the computers at home all the time. There’s your answer.
The one and only real reason why there is no cost-of-living raise for seniors on Social Security is because many of them keep voting for Republicans.
Atheists don’t believe there’s a God because you can’t see him, but there’s a God. You can see him every day you wake up and your heart beats, you breathe and you see birds, squirrels and trees. You see on TV the many animals God created. Did you create them or yourself? Who created your mother and your father? Did they create themselves?
The Grand Old Party does deserve Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, and the country does need Donald Trump. Look at what the Democrats have done to this country. It’s about time for a change.
