Bicycle-donating couple an inspiration
It was a joy to read the article about the Frankfort couple that repairs and donate bicycles for those truly in need. It is a lifesaver for those who have no car and need wheels to get to work, shopping and so on.
I admire that the senior married couple is finding true purpose in life that is a direct charity to others. They have a reason to get up in the morning and already have placed 400 bicycles with the homeless and other needy individuals. They are truly doing the Lord’s work, and are an inspiration to others that whatever your abilities are, you can use them to make the world a much happier place.
Thank you for reporting this story and here’s hoping that you can print some more in the same vein. Midst the bad news we should have some good!

Sanders vs. Trump
For those who dismiss American democracy because “both parties are the same,” you need to know that we are on the edge of an historic opportunity.
A presidential election between U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (who, of course, can’t get elected) and Donald Trump (who, of course, can’t get elected), will draw as clear a line between the parties as we have seen. The two men are pretty much opposites in every way you can think of.
Both parties are the same? Left or right, here is your chance to get out there to vote to change that.
And if those two are the candidates, my guess is we will see a historic voter turnout, which in democracy is a monumentally important measure.

Easy Street, thanks to ‘The Donald’
I find it pretty amusing that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump are all buddy-buddy now.
I’m sure Putin is thinking: “Of course I’ll endorse him, because if this jamoke turns out to be the next U.S. president, I’m in for some smooth sailing!”
