I find it somewhat ironic that some students and faculty members at the so-called bastions of free speech, our colleges and universities, are setting a poor example. By attempting to stop Donald Trump from speaking at a rally in Chicago, these students and undoubtedly several professors are demonstrating exactly what not to do, namely silence those who have a message they don’t want to hear. Instead of being open to all ideas, these institutions of higher learning are all too frequently “bastions of liberal ideas” only. What a shame!
