The Hampshire and Pingree Grove fire departments responded at 5:36 p.m. on Wednesday to a two vehicle rear end crash with heavy damage in the 43W000 block of Route 72 in Hampshire, according to the Hampshire Fire Department.
“Four people were transported to Sherman Hospital in Elgin with injuries that were not life-threatening,” said Hampshire Deputy Fire Chief Trevor Herrmann.
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, Herrmann said.
