Families who have yet to register for the upcoming school year can still do so at a special registration session this week.
Oak Park District 97 staff will host the special registration session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 25 at the administration building, 970 Madison St.
The session is being provided ahead of the first day of classes, which begin Monday.
Families of new students who will be starting school in the district will need to schedule an appointment for the session, which can be done at the District 97 website at www.op97.org.
Returning families with expired leases that still need to complete the registration process may walk in with their documents at any time during the session. Returning families are reminded to bring an updated lease with two supporting documents that feature a current Oak Park address. Valid supporting documents include a utility bill or voter registration card.
