I’d like to complain about Merrillville school buses cutting through the Petros House of Pancakes and Subway parking lot in Crossroad Plaza Shopping Center. I tried to complain to the school bus people. It seems like nobody wants to do anything about it
My best friend passed away and they were burying him on a recent Sunday. As we drove through Hobart to the funeral home in the procession, every car stopped as we proceeded. It was amazing to see and really quite refreshing to see going to Northwest Indiana. It’s a wonderful thing. Not only the South stopped, but the North stopped too. Thank you.
For those bellyaching about the wheel tax, you can thank former Gov. Mitch Daniels, Gov. Mike Pence and the Republicans in Indianapolis who used Northwest Indiana as nothing more than their bank account. Now after 12 years of neglect on the roads, the Republicans are fixing every road known to mankind because they know it’s going to be a close election.
About Chicago White Sox park: Why are they changing the name from U.S. Cellular Field to Guaranteed Rate Field? All these people got all this money to blow it on just changing a name. You’ve got to go through titles. You’ve got to go through this and that. Why don’t you just leave it as White Sox Park? I think that’s much better.

Mike Pence has come out in agreement with Donald Trump that Vladimir Putin is a better leader than Barack Obama. One thing I have to admit about Mike Pence is he’s really gone above and beyond when it comes to finding new and innovative ways to make me ashamed to be a Hoosier.
Shamefully, Mike Pence has been reduced to the same role as the guy who comes along with a shovel behind the elephants in the circus parade.
Trump claims that Putin is a stronger leader of Russia than Obama is of the USA. So true. For example, when Obama issues an executive order, children of illegal immigrants get a break. When Putin issues an executive order, political opponents get killed.
The last two Republican governors haven’t done much for the NW Indiana in the last ten years. Maybe a change is due.
I cannot drive anywhere without seeing a detour. Never in my life have I seen so much road construction happening all at once. Is all of this construction going to bankrupt Indiana?
